The wall formwork was opened and problems were found: a bulge in the wall, honeycombing and a gap where the concrete had not compacted, and a bulge at a column base. Repair mortar was specified. Forty cubic metres had gone into the wall, cast over 26 and 27 August. A concrete log book was started, recording date, quantity, grade and location for every pour.
